  December 25, 2009 - absolutely perfect bottle of wine. had it with grilled lamb chops and risotto. had it alongside 2003 silver oak and it was not a fair contest. the shiraz was as smooth as one would want. tannins nicely relaxed. nice nose and fruit was robust. good finish on the palate. this bottle was consumed at the perfect time. hate to drink the last bottle, but will not wait as it cant possibly get better....
