  January 26, 2010 - I'm not sure why this is rated so highly. Granted the price is right but to me this wine reeked of poor equilibrium and desperate doctoring to fix it up. The nose is very cherry-red, but reminded me more of Vicks cough syrup or chap stick. The palate was very tight and tart with some fruit and spice, but was so thin it disappeared almost immediately. For a Malbec from a reputed house I would have expected much more.
