  March 7, 2010 - This was opened and decanted for 3h before drinking alongside Lascases (98), Barton (95) & L'oratorie (98). Kept notes on all 4 wines through the night as it was evolving in th glass and at the end#1 was Monbousquet, #2 Barton (though my #2 was the Lascases - but one member insisted it was corked - it wasn't in my opinion and others), #3 L'oratorie and #4 Lascases. On this wine, Monbousquet, it was Med Ruby red, Nose of chocolate, cocoa, oak, vanilla & blackfruits. The palate was blacfruits, like currants, liquorice, silky leather (not harsh) giving weigth and body, and had a good 10sec+ finish.
