August 22, 2010 - Purchased one bottle from a friend who is in the retail business at a very good price and proceeded to enjoy with some good friends. after about 2 hours of decanting we just had to start pouring. all four of us agreed that it was one of the most outstanding napa wines that we have enjoyed in some time. This note is approximately 2 weeks after we drank it; therefore details are hard to remember. I do remember that there were layers upon layers of rich dark fruit and I do remember a tremendous mocha along with a perfrect herbal component. The tannins were still pretty deep after 2-3 hours and I think this wine has quite a few years ahead of it, but I will have a difficult time staying away from the 6 bottles I just picked up. I am a big cabernet franc fan when done correctly and this wine is pretty close to perfection
