  September 5, 2010 - 14% alcohol, yet brother parker says in his note that the finished level is 15.5%. i gotta believe this is riper than you get from 14, but what do i know? plus, i don't care what the actual number is because this is an other worldly wine, miraculously in balance. believe the hype, and could this domaine be the king of CdP? can i get an amen? decanted and followed in the glass for over 6 hours. vibrant, full of black licorice, mild stank/garrigue (sic?), or whatever you call it. this is wonderful stuff. deep and complex without any heat or annoying vats of syrupy goop. it never shut down in the glass. i suppose this will age for dr big j time references. drink free of guilt, or hold until the pyramids crumble. maybe a perfect wine. 98+*
