  Dark red. Closed on the nose. Air worked wonders on this. After some minutes scents of iodine, mint, wet iron, and minerals appeared. Big, chewy and peppery flavor impression with wonderfully defined and precise structure and a balanced interplay between the components. Sweet and round tannins with a bit of bite, but no hot aftertaste. It was all smooth, delicious, and I need cases of this wine. It outperformed it's bigger siblings.
