  November 20, 2010 - In the glass the '89 Suduiraut is a bright honey color, more so than most sauternes of this age and quite different from the '90 Suduiraut, which is a beautiful dark caramel color. The '89 Suduiraut provides wonderful notes of vanilla and crème brulee on the palate. There is nice acidity to pair with the sweetness of the wine. This sauternes will not wow you but has very nice structure to it that suggests it should be drunk now and should continue to l be drunk over the next 10 years. A pleasant wine that will not disappoint.
