  November 22, 2010 - Celebrating closing on a 4% 30 year refinance of the humble abode. Decant this wine for at least one hour. I did not and it took that long for it to come around. Color is an inky garnet. The nose is cherry, berry, licorice and spice. The palate was initially too tight but after about an hour opened to licorice, dark fruit, wonderful balance, very polished. Enough acid to complement food and enough tannin to bode well for the next decade. Happy to have more of these. Bravo!!
