  November 26, 2004 - Powerful, complex interesting wine. It was a great match with the grilled filet with shallot, gorgonzola, and red wine reduction sauce I served. I will admit, however, that it was clearly bested by the 1986 Chateau Margaux we opened afterwards. I actually think it could use a few more years despite the fact that Wine Spectator said to drink now.
