  December 30, 2010 - Everyone who drank the wine used the same descriptive: velvety. This wine is drinking perfectly. Decanted 2 hours before dinner the wine has beautiful, lush fruit (cherries, cassis), in balance with the tannins of the wine. While the wine is drinking beautifully, I felt guilty drinking it so young. I suppose 8 years isn't that young, but this is a wine built for the ages, one that should taste remarkable 10 years from now. With only 2 bottles left in my cellar, now that I know how wonderful this wine is, I don't know that they'll be here 10 years from now!
