  February 4, 2011 - Nice earthy nose, some black fruits, a touch of sweetness. The nose is big, but not overdone. Very nice acidity, if not slightly overwhelming, with touches of red fruits. Falls pretty flat on the mid-palate and the finish is a bit lacking. Drank over 3 hours, began to round out towards the end of dinner. I won't open my others for another 6 - 12 months. Right now, the regular reserve bottle is drinking better than this one.
