  April 1, 2011 - Like Yiannis below, I tasted this next to the 2006 Guado and really loved the Cab Franc substitution for the Syrah. The grape imparts a noticeably more violet color to the wine. The nose has lots of mineral and lead pencil aromas. The mouth is much warmer and fruitier with violets and cassis. Less weighty richness and much more elegance and sophistication than the old version. A definite improvement.
