  May 7, 2011 - A marvelous wine, baby! Caramelized pear, albiet typical with most Marcassin chardonnays, lasted from start to finish. Tropical fruit with just a touch of vanilla (oak). Perfectly balanced and full bodied. Easily one of the best CA chards I've ever had. It might get better with some age but I recommend you pull one out of the cellar to drink now. We drank two bottles tonight and they both showed very, very well.
