  September 13, 2011 - The dark garnet color is rather pretty. I found more acid than others, maybe even a touch of VA. Bottle variation? Impressive grenache nose of beef blood and violets. Palate has black cherry, spice, licorice. Medium body. Juicy finish gives way to smooth tannins. I would give this a couple of years in hopes of a bit better integration. But a good food wine now.
