  October 17, 2011 - First Carlisle I have not absolutely loved, probably because I don't like licorice. PnP after coming home from a cocktail party with wine so bad we drank beer. Dense, opaque purple. Very fragrant, but my poor nose could not ID. Full mouthfeel. Powerful flavor. Prunes and licorice. Long finish. Second night it softened, bringing out the same flavors but more subtle. If you like prunes and licorice, you'll love this wine, but I don't.
