  October 20, 2011 - The bottle is better than I expect. Upon opening, it was tannic and hollow on the mid-palate. Only after an hour before it opens up. Note of chocolate, dark berries and tar. Full bodied with chewy dried spice that lead to a soft finish. Probably drink earlier than later.
