  January 14, 2012 - Salil's notes are spot-on - the fruit here was very fresh and even a bit sweet, but you still get the tertiary old Bordeaux notes. I couldn't stop thinking of the aroma of my dad's old leather driving gloves that as a kid I used to borrow from the dusty cardboard box in the bottom of the entry foyer closet. That was probably 1983 too.
