The nose, however, was pure Burgundy with leaves, cherries, underbrush, mushrooms, etc. Really held up well. I did read that the En Orveaux vineyard is one of the last to ripen in all of the Cote d'Or, and despite a complete heatwave in 1982, it still hung on to some balance.
