  February 20, 2007 - Purple. Roasted, syrupy aromas here: the primary impression is of strawberry jam, but I also find hints of robotusin cough syrup. Seems stewed and unbalanced with a hot and slightly bitter finish. And the wine is also angular: the components don't fit tother at all well. Overall, this wine is very disappointing -- reminds me of Vieux Telegraph, a wine I typically don't like! I have 9 left but will probably try to think of some way to get rid of most of them...
