Aromatics that plant you directly in the soil of the Northern Rhone. Wild herbs, olive tapenade, black pepper, lavender, blackberry, grilled beef. Long on the palate, with a focus like a husband watching a ballgame while his wife tries to break his concentration. Just tuned like a laser. And still quite primary, which is surprising for the vintage. Drink? Yep. Hold? Sure, for a while.
