January 13, 2013 - Great freshness despite the high alcohol with spices, bellpepper, yet sweet fruit and long finish.

1/20/13, 10:50 AM - I bought lots of this and the 08. I found the 08 rather erratic, showing up the problems which can occur without SO2. Glad you enjoyed this 07. I have scored it all over the place, from as low as 90 to as high as 95. When on it's game, it can be magical.

1/20/13, 11:10 AM - Thanks - I think all three bottles that I had were nice, but I had one at a restaurant last summer that was really murky and not good.

1/20/13, 11:12 AM - I think Barral produces wines in a "natural" way making them -very- sensitive to shipping conditions. When importers do not consider this, some cases are simply destroyed. There could of course be many other reasons as well...
