  February 23, 2013 - Sultry garnet with edge thinning and medium viscosity in the glass. Beef blood, slate & iron minerals and red fruit on the nose. Med-full body and persistent with present red fruit, layers of slate, iron and volcanic minerals, hide and fine smoke. Secondary Sprite, anise and licorice. Excellent structure with one of the better acidic profiles I've tasted. Long finish. Superb with food.
