  April 15, 2013 - Strong nose, metallic flint, decanted a long while (60+) from experience. Deep, dark fruit, even tannins and balance. I would prefer less merlot and more cab with this combination with sangiovese. Color matches taste in that is deep, complex. Steady wine with Italian food. I enjoyed with home made, roasted vegetable lasagna.
