July 3, 2013 - Ripe cherry and black raspberry fruit, damp forest floor, dried green herbs. Nicely structured with M+ acid, M soft tannins, balanced M alcohol, M+ finish. A nice rustic Brunello, and typical of the 2004 vintage. Pair with veal ragu, roasted pork, red sauces. :: Popped and poured at Charlie Bird NYC. Softened noticeably over an hour.
