  February 23, 1997 - My TN for 1990 is almost exactly the same as for 1989; Beautiful bouquet, good oak, fruit, leather and tobacco. Enormously full bodied. An explosion of wealth in the mouth. Toasted oak and lush fruit. All in a perfect balance. The 1990 is slightly more developed as the 1988, but there is a lot of well hidden tannin. The toasted oak is at the moment a little more expressive as in the 1989.
