August 29, 2013 - This is a massively sweet wine. Powerful flavors showing even chilled down to refrigerator temp. Carries a wonderful bouquet of fresh oranges, melons, ripe sweet and sour apples, tangerine, peaches and other stone fruit. There is such weight and persistence here and it lingers for quite a while, it's easy to find many different flavors in the mouth. I like the progression of fresh, sour fruit into ripe sweet fruit as the wine lingers and finishes. As I said earlier, this is massively sweet, and letting it creep up to room temp yesterday, it was almost going unbalanced. Serve chilled, but I would not recommend drinking this anytime soon, rather bury your bottles for a later date. If you do drink this now, drink it as a dessert wine at the end of the night. 92++ EDIT: To speak to Levenberg's note, the acidity is barely in balance here, when chilled. As it warms, it definitely seems overly sweet for the amount of acidity it carries.
