NOSE: clean; medium intensity; flavour characteristics: prune, plum, forest floor, truffle, mushroom, leather, earth, sweet spices; fully mature
PALATE: dry; high acidity; medium body; medium+ tannin (silky); medium alcohol; long finish; medium+ flavour intensity; flavour characteristics: as per nose: prune, forest floor, leather, earthy, white pepper, sweet spices, cranberry, herbal touch
READINESS FOR DRINKING: can drink now, but will keep for 3-5 years
FURTHER REMARKS: wow, this is great! After a little scare removing what remained of the cork, the beautiful bouquet was reassuring. Outstanding wine which is still very much alice after 42 years. Beautiful and subtle with great complexity and great length.1 person found this helpful 1,875 views
