  January 1, 2014 - New Year's wine and 1st of a half case. Wanted to see where the '05s are at. Aromas of blackberries, sage, oak with hints of mature cedar. Palate was refined and medium bodied, with classic black and red fruits. Did not have the depth of fruit I expected from the vintage. Very dry finish.
