  August 15, 2014 - I hand wrote tasting notes and a score on this wine and then checked Cellartracker…I think I'll do that from now on since it's interesting to compare without having looked up previous notes first, particularly when not much time has passed since the previous tasting. Color: Very dark garnet. Nose: Red currant, black cherry, oak. Taste: Big, long wave of red currant, cherry cola, raspberry with a savory meatiness. Really nice momentum and long finish. Wonderfully silky texture and lightly gripping tannins add to the charisma of this wine. I wouldn't wait!
