  September 7, 2014 - garnet in color with a bit of bricking at edge. Looks quite young for a 28 year old wine. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, forest floor, black currant (cassis) and cranberry and a bit of saddle leather. Flavor profile leads with earthy flavors (mushroom, saddle leather / cedar and dustiness. Black currant cranberry as well. Medium-full body with a long finish and great acidity. If you have this one, drink now ... i don't see this getting better from here.
