  September 19, 2014 - WOW. This is a truly great wine. Decanted at 2 pm and then poured back into the bottle at 5:30. Carried to the restaurant and opened at about 6:30. Shared with six non-geek friends so it did not last long. Meat juices, dark fruit, a bit of coffee and chocolate, great power but extremely smooth with no astringent tannins. Everyone loved the wine. Why do so many people dislike QC? I have never had a bad one and this one is fantastic. I have a mag of the 2007 and I will give it 5-10 more years. It might get even better.
