  December 4, 2014 - Deep purple-garnet, with faint clearing at the edge. Rich, dark, and a fruit-sweet. Dark fruit, sweet cherry dominates the nose at first, yielding to hints of mint, then deeper coffee and tobacco notes. Plenty of oak here, pretty remarkably well integrated tannins. Lots of life ahead, but great now with a little air time and patience. 93-96, betting on it moving toward the higher end with a few more years in the cellar.
