Regardless of that I've heard a lot about Krug-88 and was excited to get a chance try it but was a little disappointed afterwards. The bubbles died quickly and to me it was like a pretty good still white wine with some complexity but nothing special and I only gave it 90p. Won't make that an official score so not to clutter the statistics with my lack of knowledge of champagne and I only had one small glass in a tasting with 24 different sparkling wines.

2/4/15, 2:23 PM - I don't think so, everybody else around the table thought it was a fantastic wine so I think it's my knowledge in champagne that is less than optimal..... Unfortunately we didn't have enough wine for a second glass so I couldn't reevaluate my opinion.
