  February 19, 2015 - A disappointing showing from a wine that I have enjoyed in the past. There was a sweetness and one-dimensional bright red fruit aspect to this that belied what has traditionally been a much deeper and more balanced wine for me. Perhaps this did not benefit from being paired with a rich dark chocolate souffle with salted caramel ice cream, or perhaps bottle conditions were not quite right.
