  February 26, 2015 - Short 30 minute decant. Beautiful nose that surpasses the tasting that follows. Smells of fruits, vanilla, oak, floral notes, and spices. Taste is of dark berries, cranberry, graphite, minerals. Medium body and has a subtle finish that hints at a splash of water in the glass. Aside from bright acidity this is well balanced. Smooth and not tannic. Reminds of Pinot Noir in a way. Next time, I'll try to pair with food that demands acidity (hearty tomato sauce or vinaigrette flavored).
