June 23, 2015 - Nose: drumstick sweets, pear, appletizer, slightly peppery/sherbety. Rich and round. Palate: good high acidity on mid-palate, but a little flat on the attack. Finish is short-medium and a little oily; after such a strong showing on the nose this is quite disappointing. £35

6/25/15, 3:41 PM - Sorry to read that this was a disappointment. Perhaps it needed some more time? I have generally found that Knoll's Smaragd GVs need 4-5 years to start showing well, and suspect that the 2020 drink-by date on CT is unduly cautious.

6/25/15, 4:08 PM - I was surprised to be honest. The nose was so lovely. I would definitely be interested in revisiting this some years down the line. Pretty awkward palate, hopefully better to come.
