  November 3, 2007 - This wine, which I have had several times, keeps getting better and better. Had it side by side with a Heitz Martha 1990 which started out better, but faded, while this wine grew and grew in intensity. Dark garnet with no signs of maturity. Plum, black currant, and chocolate on the nose. Gobs of fruit on the palate which started slow, but became sweet and intense an hour after opening. Long finish, no flaws, balanced and smooth. One fine bottle. I suggest decanting an hour before drinking.
