September 15, 2015 - This puppy needs a massive decant. The first two hours of it being open are pretty useless. Then the wine comes together with some structure and dark fruits. Medium finish with the perfect hint of raisin on the back end. An enjoyable wine but it still does not really compete with the 2003 Foley Claret.

9/16/15, 5:47 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. We tend to agree it needs a long time breathing (we let it do so peacefully from the bottle for even more hours, as you might imagine). Sadly, we never have tried the 2003 Claret...but now are inspired given the 2010 is excellent. We have one more bottle...do you think it will lay down for a few more years?

9/16/15, 6:22 PM - I think the 2010 will last another 15 years. If you haven't had the 2003 you owe to yourself to buy at least one. Two hours in a decanter and it's pretty incredible.

9/16/15, 8:12 PM - Thanks. We will let our 2010 rest peacefully in the cellar while we search for the 2003!!
