October 8, 2015 - La Rioja Alta 125 Harvest Celebration (Hotel Wellington - Madrid): In excellent vintages I don't miss TdO.
Aromas of pastry shop, that french oak you know, forest floor, lingo fruit and lactics. Delicious.
0n the palate I liked its persistence and length. Also that light bitter aftertaste. For what it is, truly recommended.

As you know Torre de Oña belongs to La Rioja Alta group situated in Haro (Rioja Alta Subregion) meanwhile TdO is around Páganos (Rioja Alavesa). Similar methods of winemaking; both are sharing enologist even.
Usually TdO is offering a more modern style what isn't a bad sign. Vineyards, not a single one and as occuring with LRA aren't in property. They have been buying grapes from well-known families.
So a chateau concept is there but not as much strict as it is in Bordeaux ... I afraid so.
Anyway try this link http://www.torredeona.com/la-bodega/los-vinedos/ It is in Spanish sorry because English doesn't work I don't know why.
    Cheers!
