November 9, 2015 - Super impressed. Not a huge Bordeaux fan generally (yes I know that is a sacraligious statement) but this was seriously delicious. Real body and depth to this wine. Fab with lamb steak and roast veg. Luckily I have 2 cases of this wine to enjoy!

11/12/15, 2:29 AM - Thanks for your note, particularly the correction. We were reading your description and rating and thought "does not like"? It reminds us of the joke we play with a friend when sipping a stunning wine, looking at others, saying it is "corked" and offering to drink, because we are kind souls, the balance of the bottle so they will not have to suffer....short-form for fantastic :-)

11/12/15, 3:43 AM - Thanks Arch57 and BuzzzzOff - now corrected and yes indeed you are right I did like the wine very much! And I must try that trick too, although I have before pretended that I have opened 2 bottles of the same wine and made sure that I drunk from the other decanter...

We attended a dinner at a friend's house with 80 people where he was serving some "cocktail party" wine given the numbers. He arranged 3 outstanding bottles to be decanted and put aside with special instructions for the waiters to serve to us only...magic and no one noticed...except us ;-)
