  January 12, 2016 - Haven't had this for almost a year, and it's still showing quite well. A very nice effort for the vintage. A really dense nose of black currant, barbecue smoke, tar, and coffee. Really sweet fruit. Perhaps doesn't have the depth and concentration of other SHL vintages, but it has smooth tannins and a nice mouthfeel. Not the longest finish, but excellent balancing acidity. Many years left in the tank. This is really a joy to drink, and I am glad to have more.
