  December 22, 2007 - fresh from the bottle, bouquet of dark fruits - lots of blackberry, blueberry on the nose. inky blueberry colour. there's also a pharmaceutical component on the nose I can't identify. iodine maybe? light on the palate, lots of black fruit. missing some depth for my palate - can't quite explain, but it's got some heat to it at 15%, and the mid palate seems reasonable, but the rest of my mouth is empty after a few moments. Long finish but it seems totally in the middle of my tongue, and a little at the front.
