May 12, 2016 - Richer than I remember from a few years ago. Great nose: truffle, violets and earthy notes alongside sweet plum fruit. More Pomerol than Margaux. On opening, slightly out of balance on the palate - rich, black plum, overshadowed a little by some firm tannin which eases over an hour or so. Rich, powerful wine with hedonistic nose. Drinking from now and, for those that enjoy younger wines, showing well.

5/13/16, 11:58 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. We have one bottle staring at us from the cellar window, but we seem to err on the side of waiting. We enjoy sipping barely legal, middle-aged and mature wines, but we are struggling with this luvly. Ugh...patience is a tempting virtue!

5/14/16, 1:08 AM - Thanks. My bottles were bought retail in 2008 and until last year were in a natural cellar with pretty high summer temps so may be more advanced than if stored at ideal temp. Was a very nice drink indeed after an hour or so!
