  July 4, 2016 - Looking for best Sauvignon blanc: So very clean and almost steely after all the rich Dagueneau wines we had. Nettle on the nose, flinty character, like a 1er Cru Chablis. Lots of tart green apple, juicy and saliva inducing, but underripe. Give it time.

  2006 Miani Sauvignon
  2003 or 2007 San Michele Appiano (St. Michael-Eppan) Sauvignon Sanct Valentin
  
  I bet any of these three will take the crown.
