  August 2, 2016 - Producer over vintage, in this instance. I get the classic Sociando notes throughout despite a more ripe fruit profile, which is held in check. Aromatics lead with the classic bell pepper, tobacco leaf and herb, with ripe plum fruit following, and ending with spice. The palate is round with concentrated fruit that is sufficiently fresh and even bright. Suave tannin is melting into the fruit. This is delicious, and more forward given vintage, but still dead true to Sociando.
