  January 20, 2008 - One of 9 wines tasted at our syrah/zin OL at Lucio's. Tasted side by side with the 2005 Copain James Berry Syrah. Similar profile as the Copain with blueberry, chocolate and pepper flavors, but bigger, bolder and more tannic. I think the table was split as to preference of the Copain versus the Saxum (I was in the Copain camp). Great wine.
