10/18/16, 2:39 AM - Ibetian: I was thinking to do so, too. However, the cork was fully ok (only the surface on the one end was red) and it was so slightly corked, it was still drinkable. So I guess it was bottle variation or bad storage. Based on this and one bad experience with a Chateau Figeac 1990, I tend not to buy old Bordeaux via Ebay any more.
