    November 18, 2016 - First time for me on this gem. Need to let it open up. First taste before doing so was thin and disappointing. About 45 to an hour later really full and beautiful tannins and finish. Bought 2 bottles and will get more.

    11/19/16, 6:36 AM - I fell in love with this wine a few years back, but agree that it needs a good amount of air. Tannins are pretty big to have on it's own right now, but I find this goes so well with a good steak, or slow cooked short rib. I have a couple 12s and 13s laying away that I try to forget about. Can't wait to see what these bring in another 2-3 years. Honig is a tremendous value!
