    November 20, 2016 - Sometimes when you just want a classic, balanced St Emilion, you reach for a bottle like this. Blackberries, blueberries, pencil lead, mineral, that typical St-Emilion je-ne-sais-quoi spice profile. Really unfolded in the decanter; complex, diaphanous. Beautifully textured on the palate; full and supple but no over-extraction here. In early maturity now, it will last and last.

    A beauty of a wine, seems this can easily last at least 10 more years.

    2/19/17, 3:28 PM - I prefer fully mature wines and I think this will probably hit its peak in 10 years and drink well for another 10-20 after that.
