in the mouth : quite firm with a lot of tannins, pepper, iron, blood, a bitter touch, paprika, it reminds me of a Léoville-Barton 2003 I drank a couple of months ago, this bottle could not convince me, poor QPR with the current prices for this bottle2 people found this helpful 8,018 views

12/4/16, 8:59 AM - Hello Kris and thanks so much for your tasting note of the 2003 Leoville Poyferre. You wrote "poor QPR". I am desperately looking for a good QPR Bordeaux that is in the drinking window as I have lots of bottles that I have to hold. I don't believe in the point system so much but for the purpose of making my quest clear I am hoping to find a good bottle of Bordeaux that would score better than 92 points. Sure a 87 points bottle at $15 is a great QPR. However I am looking for above 92 points quality wine at a good QPR. Any recommendations? Thanks again.
